The Niagara Sport Commission (NSC) and the Niagara Wasps Rugby Club presented the 2nd Annual Niagara Rugby Sevens Festival that took place on November 22 and November 23, 2013.
The tournament field of 29 teams featured the top boy’s and girl’s top high school teams along with men’s and women’s university and club teams from across Canada. All of the games were played in tough weather conditions at Kalar Sports Park in Niagara Falls (A field turf playing surface).
“We are thrilled to see the growth of this tournament,” said Bram Cotton, Executive Director of the NSC. “To have 10 more teams partaking in the second year of this tournament shows we are moving in the right direction.”
