Athletics Ontario is pleased to offer a comprehensive officials track and field clinic to interested groups.
The clinic covers all disciplines for all the attendees – i.e. everyone attends both the track and the field portions of the clinic. Once a person completes this clinic and submits an AO Official’s Registration Form and Offence Declaration, he/she becomes an Athletics Ontario official. He/she then follows a series of steps to move through level 1 up to level 5, if he/she chooses. Taking the AO Comprehensive Clinic will prepare potential new officials to begin officiating with at least some level of confidence. There is a limit of 45 participants, so be sure to claim your spot now!
The clinic will be hosted by the Niagara Olympic Club (www.nocrunners.com), taking place on Sunday, April 12 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. It will be at the West. St. Catharines Older Adult Centre, located at 117 Chetwood Avenue. The cost for the clinic is just $15, which includes a IAAF rulebook.
Please send your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and affiliation with track and field to Sharon Stewart (firstname.lastname@example.org) to register. You can also visit www.ontarioathletics.ca for more information.
